Welcome!

Posted by: W/O Wruck
Welcome to the blog of 1231 RCACC (Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps), located in Kensington, PEI. We train weekly on Tuesdays from 6-9pm. The first Tuesday of each month is our CO's parade, and the 4th Tuesday of each month is our sports night. This blog will be used to post information regarding the unit. At the bottom of this page, you will see a calendar containing the schedule for the entire year of training as of this moment. The calendar will be added to as information becomes available.

What is cadets? Cadets is a program for youth aged 12-18 (you must leave when you turn 19). Originally founded in 1879, army cadets now has around 20,000 members, as well as around 3000 instructors (CIC). Anyone can join at no charge and stay in the program for as much time or as little time as they wish.
